L’Ecole No 41 Apogee Pepper Bridge Vineyard 2014 is the house’s iconic top cuvée from the famous Pepper Bridge Vineyard in Walla Walla Valley, Washington State. Since 1993, L’Ecole has produced Apogee as their ultimate interpretation of the character of the land – a wine that combines intensity, spicy complexity and structural depth in classic Bordeaux style.

Apogee means climax – and that is precisely the ambition here: to capture Pepper Bridge Vineyard’s signature dark fruit, spicy aromas and robust tannins in a wine with both power and elegance. The 2014 vintage is concentrated and well-structured, with a great balance between ripe fruit and firm tannic structure, offering significant ageing potential.

This vintage is composed of 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 31% Merlot, 15% Petit Verdot and 4% Cabernet Franc. The combination provides depth, aromatic complexity and a firm, lean structure that carries the wine beautifully through the long finish.
