Quevedo Rosé Port – Modern Pink Port from Douro with freshness and elegance

Quevedo Rosé Port is the new generation of Port. A modern and refreshing Pink Port from the heart of the Douro Valley in Portugal. Here you get a port that combines classic craftsmanship with today’s taste for freshness and lightness.

The beautiful raspberry pink color immediately catches the eye in the glass. The style is made to be served chilled. It’s a port that’s perfect for summer patios, cocktails or as an elegant alternative to rosé.

Quevedo Rosé Port is made from the classic port grapes that are also used for Ruby Port. The difference lies in the very short maceration. The contact between grape skins and must is minimal. This gives it a delicate pink color and a fresh, fruity style.

Serve it ice cold over ice cubes. Top it with tonic for a crisp and refreshing Pink Port & Tonic. It’s also ideal for desserts with fresh berries or as a light glass in good company. If you’re looking for Rosé Port, Pink Port or modern port from the Douro, Quevedo is a safe choice.

The house behind – Quevedo from Douro

The Quevedo family is based in São João da Pesqueira in the middle of the Douro Valley. The family has been growing wine for generations. For many years, they sold their grapes to the renowned port wine house Taylor. This is a testament to the high quality of the grapes.

In 1975, the family started producing their own wine. Since 1991, they have marketed port and table wines under their own name. Today, they have more than 100 hectares of vineyards. Among them is Quinta Vale D’Agodinho, which is the most important field of the house.

The grapes are hand-picked in the cool morning hours. They are traditionally aged in granite lagares. Fermentation is stopped by adding grape spirit. This is the classic method behind true port wine. Today, production is led by Claudia Quevedo, while Oscar Jr. is responsible for the international profile. Quevedo now exports their wines all over the world.
