Radius Distillery Hjelm Marc is a characterful Danish marc spirit, made with a focus on raw materials, craftsmanship and precision. This powerful spirit is created at Oremandsgaard Estate, where Radius Distillery takes an almost scientific approach to distilling. The goal is always to bring out the pure flavors and create spirits of the highest quality.

Hjelm Marc is produced from grape marc from Hjelm Vingaard near Stege on Møn. The vineyard is run by Jørgen Teik Hansen and is known for its Danish wines with distinct terroir. After the grapes are pressed, the kvass – the skins, seeds and remains of the fruit – is used as raw material for this special spirit.

The pomace is distilled directly in the boiler, resulting in an intense and complex flavor profile. This method preserves the aromatic compounds from the grapes and creates a powerful marc with both depth and character. The result is an authentic Nordic interpretation of the classic European marc style.

Radius Hjelm Marc is ideal as a digestif after a good meal. It’s especially good after a full-bodied dinner, where its warm and aromatic character provides an elegant end to the evening. Enjoy it at room temperature in a small glass where the aromas can fully unfold.

Tasting notes
