Wild Series No. 24 from RomDeLuxe is pure power, complexity and uncompromising cask character. Bottled at full cask strength of 63.95%, this 22 year old Panama rum delivers an intense, deep and almost explosive flavor experience for the experienced rum lover.

Distilled in 1999 at a secret distillery in Panama and aged for a full 20 years in a tropical climate where the heat accelerated maturation and created maximum concentration. The rum was then given a 30-month continental finish in an Ex-Islay Cask, which adds distinctive smoky and maritime nuances. The combination of tropical aging and Islay cask provides a rare balance of sweetness, power and dry, smoky complexity.

This is a true Single Cask – cask number 345 – and only 254 bottles have been bottled. This is small batch in its purest form. No additions, no adjustments – just pure, cask strength Panama rum with character and edge.

At 63.95%, it’s massive and structured, yet balanced for those who give it time in the glass. A few drops of water opens up even more layers and nuances.

Tasting notes

• Nose: Intense and deep with dark caramel, roasted nuts, tropical fruit and distinctive smoky Islay notes.
• Palate: Powerful and concentrated with molasses, vanilla, oak, peat, salted caramel and spicy heat.
• Finish: Extremely long and complex with smoke, dark chocolate, oak and a dry, slightly salty finish.
