If you don't remember – or have never heard of – Ten Cane, the short version of the story is that Ten Cane was built by Louis Voutton Moët Hennessy in the mid-'00s for the purpose of making pot still-distilled rum on fresh sugar cane juice in Trinidad. Unfortunately, the distillery succumbed and had to close before the room found its audience, which is why the casks from Ten Cane are incredibly rare (and sought after) today.

This edition from Compagnie des Indes Single Cask is only made for the Danish market!

Distilled in one single colomn and Pot Still in December 2015this rum has been aged in 1st fill ex-bourbon American oak in a warehouse in the Riverland Region, in South Australia. A unique arid and desert climate, with an angel share of 4% per year.

The Velier Vieux Sajous 4 years old Cask Strength Second Release at 56.3% ABV is a unique and aged Clairin, a traditional style of rum from Haiti that has typically not been aged. 

• Aging: This release is the result of a significant departure from tradition. Unlike young Clairin Ansyen releases, the Vieux Sajous has been aged for four years. This aging process is not common in the production of Clairin, making it a distinctive expression of the style.

• Barrel Blend: Vieux Sajous is the product of a blend of 12 barrels. These barrels had previously held single malt whisky or rum, which has contributed to the evolution of the spirit. The aging process and the interaction with the barrels have led to an increase in aromatic complexity, thanks to the esterification process. This complexity is likely to enhance the flavor and fragrance of the rum.

• Cask Strength: The rum is bottled at its cask strength of 56.3% ABV, which means it maintains its robust and intense character, potentially offering a rich and flavorful experience.

This Clairin Vieux Sajous release represents an exciting departure from the traditional Clairin style, offering enthusiasts a unique opportunity to explore the impact of aging on this distinctive spirit. The last 48 months have been spent in a port cask and it dresses the spirit really nicely, giving it sweetness and red fruit. The alcohol percentage is 62.4, and the total of 430 bottles are only for Denmark.

For more than 20 years, Plantation Rum´s Master Blender Alexandre Gabriel has explored the world of rum and its various terroirs in search of traditional production methods. For this one-time limited edition, he cross the ocean to the shores of Jamaica, where he handpicked only 28 casks at Clarendon Distillery.

In Plantation Rum´s signature double-ageing technique, this unique expression is aged 13 years in tropical climate, in Jamaica, and shipped by the sea to the southwest of France, where it will mature for another 2 years in French oak Ferrand casks.

Distilled in a Vendome double-retort pot still acfter a 3 to 4 days fermentation in open vats, this Jamaica MSP 2007 express the delicate flavours and distinctive character of the Jamaican light pot-still rums. An exquisite diversity of Jamaican rums.

Albert Heinrich Riise, the son of a sailor from the wonderful Danish island of Ærø, who travelled the world and set up as a pharmacist and rum maker in the West Indies, was a restless soul and made both rum and went on expeditions to hunt for new species in the plant or animal kingdom. A great many plant, amphibians and fish have the world "Riisea" in their Latin name, thus after the man who first discovered and described the new spicies.

To his contemporaries, A.H. Riise was known for his uncompromising approach to his work and the same can said of the company A.H. Riise today when we create the ultimate drink.

A.H. Riise´s "Master Blender Collection" is composed of the best casks we have. In pther words, "Master Blender Collection" is a meticulous blend with the best and most refined spirits we have been able to get our hands on.

"Master Blender Collection" is made as Small Batch, yet we strive to ensure that each batch is an accurate reproduction of the preceding batch. However, with such small batches, minor differences in tastes, aromas amd colour are bound to occur. It is all part of the charm and adventure, if you ask us, and only goes to show the craftmansship needed to create such a blend.

This rums comes from a secret distillery in Panama. This rum is a blend of both Pot Still and Column Stil. It has a lot of character retrieved from 20 years of aging in Panama. After the long aging it was sent to Denmark where we haven given it a finish in a used Islay whisky cask for 2½ year. This finish has added some spiceness and smokiness to the rum.

Here comes another bottling from the now closed distillery TenCane which was located in Trinidad. At TenCane they made some really exciting tasting rums, based on fresh sugar cane juice. As the distillery is closed, it can be difficult to get all the details about the rum, which is also the case with this cask.

Vieux Sajous 4 Y.O. Lustau Oloroso Sherry Cask er produceret i St. Michel de l'Attalayes store terroir med Cristalline-sukkerrør, en af ​​de bedste antikke sorter, nu kun dyrket i Haiti.

This white blended rum is a collaboration between Richard Seale, who is the man behind Foursquare Distillery from Barbados, while the Italian Luca Gargano, is the man behind Velier. This rum is a blend of pot stills rum from Hampden, Jamaica, as well as both stored and unstored pot and column distilled rum from Foursqure from Barbados. It is bottled with a strength of 47% in alcohol.

These 2 people have joined forces in the fight against additives and cheating by the different age designations in the rum world, and therefore Velier's latest series of rum, Habitation Velier, transparency is paramount, as you see on their labels, where there are always details about the production of the different rum, to "Angel´s share" for the content of ester.

This rum is from Haiti and is an agricole rum from Velier which is Italian bottler. This rum is a mixture of 4 different distilleries, where all the sugar cane is grown organically, as well as fermented with natural emerging make and distilled on pot stills or small columns. This rum specialty from Haiti "Clairin" very rarely leaves Haiti, or for that matter the municipality where they make it in bottle form, as the customers themselves come to the distillery with plastic cans and get them filled on the spot. Thanks to Luca Gargano and Velier, these amazing Clairin are now available to grab in Europe.

Why the tropical dependent bottler? Because they make blends of rums that are exclusiverly aged in the destilleries where they produced. The Papalin Jamaica is a blend of two rums. Worthy Park and Hampden, and the master blender is Luca Gargano from Velier. Bottled in december 2021

In Plantation Rum´s sugnature double-ageing technique, this unique expression is aged 10 years in Fiji, then shipped by sea to the south-west of France, where it matured another 3 years in Frence oak Ferrand casks.

Distilled 100% in pot still, this Fiji 2009 offers a particularly rich aromatic profile, heavier than traditional Fijian rums that blend both columns and pot-still distillates. An exquisite edition showcasing the exceptional savoir-faire of the distillery.
