Whiplash Zinfandel Lodi California 2020

Whiplash Zinfandel is a big, bombastic red wine from Lodi in California – one of the world's leading terroirs when it comes to Zinfandel. In addition to Zinfandel, the wine in some vintages contains a small amount of Petit Sirah, which contributes to the blend with dark depth. Whiplash ages for 3 months in barrels, of which approximately 30% is new, French oak. Like the horse it is named after, the wine is powerful and muscular, showing plenty of the dark fruit and long, soft finish for which Zinfandel from Lodi is world famous.
