It was in 1959 that Jean & Huguette Pernet founded Maison Jean Pernet, but the family's origins can be dated back to the 17th century. From generation to generation, the expertise and know-how has been passed on over time. In the past, Jean Pernet produced 15,000 bottles to now produce 120,000 bottles, something has happened over time. Today, the vineyard is 17 hectares across Le Mesnil sur Oger, Vertus, Chouilly, as well as the traditional vineyard of Epernay, Chavot and Leuvrigny.
