Churchill’s vintage 2011 has a dense purple color, a huge concentration in the nose of dark fruits like blackberries and cherries. The port wine is still unredeemed and young, but the potential is clear, and the structure of the taste lends itself to a storage port of the very large ones, which the price also reflects. 97 points and Wine spectator! Like all Churchill Port wines, the Vintage Port is made according to the old traditional methods. The grapes are trampled underfoot in granite layers in the Quinta high up in the Douro Valley.
