Looking for true Amarone quality that delivers depth, warmth and pure luxury in the glass? Then the Riondo Amarone della Valpolicella is a sublime choice. This popular Amarone is consistently at the top with 4.1 stars on Vivino and is loved by thousands of wine lovers – and rightly so. It’s an intense, silky smooth and powerful red wine that captures everything Amarone stands for: deep fruit, warmth from the alcohol and a long, complex finish.

Perfect for those looking for a wine with massive flavor richness, high drinking pleasure and a price point where quality far exceeds expectations.

Why choose Riondo Amarone?

  • True Amarone intensity: Produced from carefully dried Corvina, Corvinone and Rondinella grapes.

  • Long barrel aging: Approx. 18 months in oak barrels and min. 6 months in bottle for roundness, finesse and extra depth.

  • Ideal for hearty dishes: Perfect for Christmas food, simmered dishes, game, barbecues – and the homemade Bolognese that has been simmering for hours.

  • A crowd-pleasing Amarone: Winner of internal tests and among the most acclaimed in its price range.

Tasting notes – What to look forward to

Riondo Amarone delivers the classic Appassimento experience:
The grapes are dried after harvest to intensify the flavor – and you can taste it!

In the aroma you will meet:

  • Dark cherries

  • Dried fruits

  • Figs and prunes

On the palate you get:

  • Juicy, rich fruit

  • Layers of dark chocolate, coffee and spices

  • Soft tannins and a long, warm finish

The long time in wooden barrels adds subtle nuances of vanilla, oak, light smoke and spicy notes that blend beautifully with the wine’s natural sweet fruit depth.

House history – A wine family with over 100 years of passion

Riondo Amarone comes from the traditional Sartori wine company, which dates back to 1898, when Pietro Sartori bought his first vineyard and cellar to ensure quality wines for his hotel. It was the beginning of more than a century of dedication to winemaking.

Today, the house is run by the 4th generation of the Sartori family, who continue the legacy with the same passion for quality, craftsmanship and respect for the unique terroir of the Veneto region. With their Riondo Amarone, they show once again why the Sartori name is so beloved among wine lovers.
