Flavor: Rich and concentrated with juicy dark fruit, soft tannins and a beautiful balance of sweetness, warmth and structure. Layer upon layer of dark chocolate, spices and lightly roasted barrel notes unfold elegantly in the mouth.

Finish: Long, warm and persistent with a velvety finish and classic Amarone character.

An ideal companion for game, simmered dishes, braised beef, Christmas food, hearty pasta dishes – or simply as a large glass of wine to be enjoyed in peace and quiet.

The history of the house

Riondo Amarone is produced by the traditional Sartori winery, which has been at the heart of the Veneto region’s wine tradition since 1898. It all began when Pietro Sartori bought his first vineyards and cellars to ensure quality wines for his hotel – laying the foundation for a winery with more than 100 years of history.

Today, Sartori is run by the fourth generation of the family, who carry on the legacy with great respect for terroir, craftsmanship and the classic methods that have made Valpolicella famous. With Riondo Amarone, the house shows once again why the Sartori name is among the most recognized and loved in the region.
