The whisky is matured in a first fill Oloroso sherry cask, which has given it a distinctive and dark profile. It is bottled at a natural cask strength of 59.1%, without chill filtration and with natural color. This means that all the natural aromas and flavors are retained. The color is almost black as cola, clearly revealing the massive sherry influence of the cask. The flavor is powerful and complex, but still nicely balanced.
