Collectors Series Rum No. 9 is a powerful and exclusive single cask rum from Belize – created for collectors and passionate rum lovers. Bottled at a full 60% alcohol, this 8 year old Travellers Distillery rum offers intensity, depth and a unique sherry cask profile.

The rum is column still distilled and molasses-based, giving it a clean and structured style. It has undergone continental aging and is finally matured in a 130 liter PX sherry cask (cask no. 561). The PX cask adds dark fruit sweetness, spice and a deep, almost dessert-like complexity that plays beautifully with the natural character of the rum.

Only 185 bottles were bottled in March 2022, making this a true limited release in the Collectors Series. A rum with personality, power and distinct cask influence – made for contemplation.

Tasting notes

Color: Dark amber with deep mahogany tones.

Aroma: Intense and rich with notes of raisins, dark caramel, dried plums and spices. The PX sherry cask contributes sweet notes of dates and chocolate.

Flavor: Powerful and concentrated with dark fruit, molasses, cocoa and roasted nuts. The high alcohol adds structure and depth but is nicely integrated with the sweet sherry character.

Finish: Long and warm with lingering notes of dried fruit, spicy oak and dark sugar.
