Bimber Klub Edition 2022 London Single Malt Whisky 51.2% – Imperial Stout Cask Release No. 3

Bimber Klub Edition 2022 is an exciting limited release from the innovative Bimber Distillery in London. Created for the distillery’s dedicated whisky club, this special single malt showcases Bimber’s creative approach to cask maturation and flavor development. The result is an intense and characterful whisky with both depth and complexity.

The whisky starts its maturation in carefully selected ex-bourbon oak casks. It then receives a final maturation in special Imperial Stout casks, which were previously used by Brew By Numbers for their powerful stout. This unique cask finish adds an extra dimension of roasted malt, sweetness and rich nuances to the whisky.

The collaboration between Bimber Distillery and Brew By Numbers creates a whisky with a character that clearly bears the mark of the stout casks. The combination of the classic vanilla and caramel notes of the bourbon barrel with the dark, roasted character of the stout creates a complex and modern whisky experience.

Bimber Klub Edition Release No. 3 is bottled at 51.2%, giving an intense and concentrated flavor. Only 1,650 bottles were produced, making this release a coveted whisky among collectors and enthusiasts.

Tasting notes

Aroma: Roasted malt, dark stout, vanilla, brioche and light floral notes.

Flavor: Rich and complex with notes of sweet toasted stout, buttery brioche, caramel and dark malt.
