Elk Cove Vineyards Harvest Cru Pinot Noir 2019 is a special wine from Oregon’s Willamette Valley. The wine is created as a tribute to the dedicated harvest interns who help bring the grapes from field to cellar at Elk Cove Vineyards each year.

Each vintage, winemaking students from around the world arrive at the winery to experience a harvest in the Willamette Valley. During harvest, they work long days in the fields and cellar, helping to transform fresh grapes into finished wine. The Harvest Cru wine was created to recognize their efforts and dedication.

For the 2019 vintage, the Harvest Cru team was given responsibility for a single fermentation tank from the renowned Mount Richmond Vineyard. From here, this characterful Pinot Noir was created. The result is a wine with great fruit, good structure and the classic elegance that Pinot Noir from Yamhill-Carlton AVA is known for.

The wine shows the typical Willamette Valley balance of freshness, finesse and fruit. It is perfect with poultry, mushrooms, lamb or light meat dishes, but can also be enjoyed on its own in the glass.
