Pike Road Pinot Noir 2023 – Willamette Valley, Oregon

A Flavor Journey Down Pike Road

Experience the heart of Oregon in a glass. Pike Road Pinot Noir 2023 comes from the Willamette Valley, one of the world’s top regions for Pinot Noir. Here, nature, tradition, and craftsmanship meet. The result is a wine with elegance, depth, and freshness.

This wine offers red fruit, silky tannins, and subtle oak notes. It appeals to both connoisseurs and those who simply want to enjoy a beautiful glass of wine.

Tasting Notes

Pike Road opens with aromas of strawberries, cherries, and raspberries. Subtle hints of vanilla, clove, and toasted oak follow. On the palate, it is juicy and elegant, with bright acidity and soft fruit.
The finish is long and lively, with red berries, forest floor notes, and a touch of spice.

Serve slightly chilled at 14–16°C. It pairs beautifully with duck breast, mushroom risotto, herb-roasted chicken, or a quiet evening in good company.

Winemaking

Only the best grapes are selected for Pike Road. They are handpicked and carefully sorted. Fermentation takes place gently in stainless steel tanks to preserve the aromas.
After fermentation, the wine is aged for 10 months in 100% French oak barrels. This adds depth, complexity, and a smooth structure. The result is an authentic Pinot Noir from the Willamette Valley.

The House – The Story Behind Pike Road

Pike Road Wines is crafted by Elk Cove Vineyards, one of Oregon’s oldest and most respected wineries. The Campbell family has farmed Oregon soil for five generations and made wine for over 50 years. Their philosophy is simple: wines that reflect the land, the people, and their passion.

The name Pike Road comes from the winding road through Yamhill County, surrounded by vineyards. The grapes for this wine come from Pike Road’s own vineyards and over 20 trusted growers in the region. Every bottle tells a story of craftsmanship, patience, and a love for Pinot Noir.
