Plantation Rum Trinidad 2009 from the Vintage Collection is an exclusive one-time limited edition that combines tropical power with French finesse. Distilled at Trinidad Distillers Limited in 2009 and aged until 2021, this 12-year-old rum offers a deep and complex flavor experience where classic Caribbean structure meets elegant cognac finish.

This is a molasses-based rum with 3-day fermentation and distilled on a 4-column still – a method that ensures purity, precision and great aromatic balance. The result is a full-bodied yet elegant rum with both ripe sweetness and spicy depth.

11 years tropical aging – 1 year cognac finish

The rum is aged 11 years tropically in Port of Spain, Trinidad in classic bourbon barrels, where it has gained structure, vanilla sweetness and rounded barrel character. It was then sent to Javrezac in France where it was aged for a further 1 year in Ferrand Cognac barrels.

This double maturation process adds complexity with vinous, fruity and slightly spicy nuances that take the rum from classic Trinidad style to something more refined and profound.
