Nikka Taketsuru
Japanese Pure Blended Malt Whisky 43%

This is a blended malt named after Nikka´s founder Masataka Taketsuru, the the father of Japanese whisky. He is the first Japanese who mastered whisky-making in Scotland and brougth this expertise back to Japan. While being a disciplinen craftman, Masataka was also a person of curiosity and open-mindedness. This whisky has been created inspired by his personality to showcase an exquisite balance between elegant and softness and deep complexity.

Nose: Fruity, marked by citrus notes with orange but also a fatter side with the juicy pear. Complex and expressive, the nose evolves and reveals slightly herbaceous notes witn hint of pear and a slight bitterness
Palete: Round and full of delicacy. Cereal aromas alongside sweet spice with an ounce of cardemon. At the same time, candied fruit notes appear with a more assertive character giving depth and length.
Finish: In line with the palate, a sligthly bitterness arrives with peat in all discretion which tends almost to a full bodied dark chocolate.
