the 2017 vintage delivers concentrated dark fruit, great ripeness and impressive balance. The grapes come from carefully selected parcels in Rutherford, where the gravel and clay soils create wines with structure and complexity. The combination of warm days and cool nights ensures fully ripe fruit with retained freshness.

About Alpha Omega – Napa Valley with a Danish touch

Alpha Omega was founded in 2006 by Robin and Michelle Baggett in Napa Valley. Robin had previously established Tolosa Winery, but wanted to work with the unique terroir of Napa. The vision was to combine modern technology with classic craftsmanship.

Joining the team is winemaker Henrik Poulsen, who has almost two decades of experience from both Europe and Napa Valley. Henrik grew up in Nexø and brings international experience and Scandinavian precision to the project. Alpha Omega owns fields in Rutherford, including Thomas Vineyard – a state-of-the-art field laboratory – where soil, water and maturity data is analyzed down to the smallest detail.

Today, Alpha Omega is recognized as one of the most exciting producers in Napa Valley. This 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon clearly shows why the house has gained so much respect in such a short time.
