Domaine De Boisseyt Condrieu Les Corbonnes 2018 is a full-bodied and aromatic white wine from the Northern Rhône. This is pure Viognier from the steep granite slopes of Condrieu – one of the area’s most prestigious appellations. It’s a wine of intensity, depth and classic elegance.

The Les Corbonnes vineyard delivers low yields and high concentration. The granite soil and warm microclimate provide optimal conditions for the Viognier grape. The 2018 vintage was generous and sunny, resulting in a wine with ripe fruit and great structure.

The wine is rich and harmonious. It combines aromatic richness with fresh minerality. An ideal companion for lobster, scallops, creamy fish dishes or light meat.

Tasting notes

Color: Clear golden with a slight straw yellow tone.

Aroma: Intense aroma of white flowers, apricot and ripe peach. Notes of citrus, honey and subtle spice.

Flavor: Full-bodied and silky smooth. Stone fruit, pear and slightly exotic nuances. Balanced acidity and clear minerality from the granite.

Finish: Long and rounded with freshness and a slightly spicy finish.

About Domaine De Boisseyt

Domaine De Boisseyt is probably the oldest estate in the area and is first mentioned in 1343. For more than six generations, the family has run the vineyard with respect for tradition and terroir.

In 2017, Romain Decelle took over the management. He brings experience from both Bordeaux and Burgundy as well as the family wine tradition from Decelle et Fils. Under his leadership, historical heritage is combined with modern precision.

Domaine De Boisseyt owns parcels in Condrieu, Côte-Rôtie and Saint-Joseph. Les Corbonnes 2018 is a strong expression of the house’s focus on quality and terroir-driven Rhône wines.
