Glenfarclas Single Cask 2006 #3418 is a powerful and exclusive Speyside single malt whisky, bottled directly from a single cask. This bottling represents Glenfarclas in its purest form – no blending, no compromise and maximum character from both distillate and cask.

The whisky was distilled in 2006 and matured in a classic Sherry Butt cask, known for giving the whisky a rich and deep flavor profile. The long sherry maturation adds layers of dark fruit, spice and rich sweetness that meld with Glenfarclas’ classic Speyside character.

As a true Single Cask, the whisky is bottled from cask number 3418 with no blending with other casks. This means that each bottle is a unique representation of that particular cask. In total, only 599 bottles were bottled, making this edition particularly interesting for collectors and enthusiasts.

The whisky is bottled at 61.4% cask strength, giving an intense and concentrated flavor experience. It can be enjoyed neat for maximum depth or with a few drops of water to open up even more aromatic layers.

History of the house

Glenfarclas Distillery is one of Scotland’s most traditional distilleries and has been owned by the Grant family since 1865. Today, the distillery continues to be run by the family through several generations, making Glenfarclas one of the few distilleries in Scotland that is still family owned.

The distillery is known for its classic Speyside style and for aging a large proportion of its whiskies in sherry casks. The combination of traditional craftsmanship, long maturation and carefully selected casks produces whiskies of great depth, complexity and authenticity.
