This edition is matured exclusively in 500 liter sherry butts that have previously held high-quality Oloroso and Pedro Ximénez sherry from renowned bodegas in Andalusia. The combination of Jamaican high ester distillate and 100% ex-sherry casks creates a deep, vinous and complex rum with immense aromatic intensity.

With an alcoholic strength of 52% and a congener content of 1,603.5 gr/hlpa, of which 394 gr/hlpa are esters, Pagos delivers an explosive and unmistakable Hampden profile. It’s Jamaican rum in its most concentrated and authentic form – no sugar added and fully tropically aged at the distillery.

Aroma: Intense and complex with dried fruit, raisins, figs, orange peel, overripe pineapple, fermented notes and classic Hampden funk.

Flavor: Rich and powerful with dark raisins, dates, spice, cocoa, sherry notes, tropical fruit and a distinctive ester profile. Dense, oily texture and great balance between fruit, barrel and alcohol.

Finish: Long, spicy and persistent with dried fruit, oak, orange peel and that distinctive Jamaican intensity.
