Hampden Great House Distillery Edition 2025 – Pure Single Jamaican Rum 57%

A new legend from Trelawny – powerful, complex, and full of soul.

The iconic Hampden Estate presents this year’s edition of their renowned Great House Distillery Edition. A rum that captures everything that has made Hampden a true icon in the world of rum.
The 2025 edition was created by the estate’s Master Distiller, who has blended the most characteristic marks from the distillery. The result is a rum that showcases the very essence of Hampden’s unique style.

Distilled in traditional pot stills and aged 100% tropically in Trelawny, it delivers an intense and genuinely Jamaican character. Bottled at 57% ABV, it highlights both the power and the intricate layers of flavor.

Tasting Notes

Nose: Exotic and intense, with notes of pineapple, banana, lime, and vanilla. In the background, hints of acetone, sugarcane juice, and a touch of funk emerge.

Palate: Full-bodied and vibrant, with tropical fruit, brown sugar, oak, and spices. The high strength provides both energy and balance.

Finish: Long and dry with lingering notes of caramel, citrus, and Jamaican esters.

The Story of Hampden Estate

Founded in 1753, Hampden Estate is one of Jamaica’s oldest distilleries.
On the grounds stands the magnificent Great House, built in 1779. For many years, the upper floor was used for rum storage. Today, it welcomes guests from all over the world – a symbol of the estate’s rich heritage.

For more than 260 years, Hampden has remained true to traditional methods. The rum is still produced using natural fermentation and distilled in copper pot stills. This combination creates an intense, aromatic style found nowhere else.

Hampden Great House Distillery Edition 2025 is more than just rum. It is a piece of living Jamaican history – and a must for every rum lover.
