Abel Tesseron laid the foundation for this unique cognac when he began the distillation and slow aging in Limousin oak barrels. For generations, the family has carefully preserved and developed these precious drops in a historic 13th century crypt in Châteauneuf-sur-Charente. The constant temperature and humidity in the crypt has created optimal conditions for extremely slow maturation, giving Trésor its remarkable depth, complexity and silky texture.

In the glass, Tesseron Trésor has an intense amber color with copper and mahogany nuances. The nose is monumental and layered with honey, candied fruit, raisins, orange peel and subtle spicy undertones. The taste is opulent and elegant with notes of dried fruit, apricot, roasted nuts, mocha and fine cocoa. The Tesseron family has been one of the most respected names in Cognac since the 1800s. Focusing on Grande Champagne and exceptionally old eaux-de-vie, the house has built a unique cellar of rare casks. Production began at the family estate in Châteauneuf-sur-Charente, where Abel Tesseron stored his cognac in the historic crypt.
