Warehouse Reserve – Independent bottler of special casks
Woodrow's of Edinburgh started out as whiskey cask dealers and have therefore always been used to buying casks without tasting them first. However, Woodrow's of Edinburgh always ensures that samples are taken for our customers – typically other independent bottlers – so they know exactly what they are buying. And of course Woodrow's of Edinburgh tastes them themselves!
Sometimes Woodrow's of Edinburgh comes across casks that are simply too good to pass up. They bottle these exceptional casks under "Warehouse Reserve" – always at cask strength, without cold filtration and with natural color. Some dishes have great potential, but just lack the finishing touch. Other times, Woodrow's of Edinburgh sees an exciting opportunity to add extra complexity. Woodrow's of Edinburgh loves a bit of secondary maturation and selects our casks with great care.
These experimental bottlings also come under the "Warehouse Reserve" – for those seeking an extraordinary taste experience.
