The 2015 vintage is considered an outstanding vintage in Veneto, and in this Balthazar edition you get both volume and quality in a class of its own. The large bottle size ensures an even slower and more harmonious evolution, making it ideal for long-term storage and special events.

The wine is made from Corvina (70%), Rondinella (25%) and Molinara (5%). The grapes have undergone traditional appassimento and been left to dry for 100 days, concentrating sugar, aroma and structure. After fermentation, the wine is aged for 36 months in Slovenian oak barrels and then a further 8-12 months in bottle before release. The result is an Amarone with monumental depth, complexity and balance.
