The release is part of The Single Malts of Scotland – Reserve Casks series, where the focus is on flavor, character and craftsmanship rather than age alone. The result is a whisky with a distinct regional style and a great balance between freshness, malt and cask.

The whisky was distilled in 2008 at a distillery in the Highlands and bottled in 2021 after 12 years of maturation. Parcel No. 7 is a small batch release consisting of just three carefully selected casks. The limited quantity results in a whisky with distinct individuality and great authenticity.

The Reserve Casks series is created to explore the character of different distilleries through small cask selections. The whisky is bottled without cold filtration and without added color. This ensures a pure and natural whisky experience, where all aromas and flavors are allowed to emerge clearly.

During aging, approximately 8.2% of the whisky has disappeared into the so-called angel’s share. This natural evaporation concentrates the flavor and contributes to the depth and complexity of the whisky.

Tasting notes

Aroma: Fresh malt, honey, green apples, citrus and slightly spicy oak.

Taste: Elegant and rounded with notes of vanilla, malt, pear, citrus and light spices.

Finish: Medium long and harmonious with soft sweetness, oak and light spicy warmth.
