Château Fleur de Cantelys 2022
– Elegant white wine from Pessac-Léognan

Are you looking for a fresh and characterful white wine from Bordeaux? Château Fleur de Cantelys 2022 is a brilliant choice – a white wine with finesse, balance, and depth, crafted on the prestigious soil of Pessac-Léognan in Graves, just south of the city of Bordeaux. This wine comes from the renowned Château Cantelys, known for its elegant and complex wines. Here, terroir, tradition, and modern technique are brought together in perfect harmony. The wine is made from Sauvignon Blanc and Sémillon grapes grown on 20-year-old vines, cultivated on elevated gravel soils with natural drainage – ideal conditions for developing intense fruit and crisp acidity.

Tasting Notes – Freshness and finesse in beautiful balance
Château Fleur de Cantelys 2022 shines in the glass with a pale yellow color and a hint of green reflections. The nose is seductive and fruity, with ripe apricots, peaches, and subtle notes of pineapple. In the background, there’s a fine hint of lemon zest that lifts the aroma with a fresh touch.
On the palate, the wine is beautifully balanced with a creamy texture and lively acidity. The fruit from the nose returns with juicy notes and a delicious, persistent finish. This is a wine that both charms and impresses – perfect as an aperitif, with shellfish, grilled fish, or white meat.

The story behind Château Cantelys
Château Cantelys is beautifully located between Léognan and Martillac – two well-known wine towns in the Graves region. The estate was acquired in 1994 by Daniel and Florence Cathiard, who also own the famous Château Smith Haut Lafitte. Under their expert leadership, Cantelys has seen a significant improvement in quality year after year.
The property spans 24 hectares, with the majority dedicated to red wine production. However, the white wine from this estate – like Château Fleur de Cantelys – has gained attention in recent years for its purity, elegance, and fruit-driven style.
