Kendall-Jackson Estate Pinot Noir 2012 – Exclusive Pinot Noir from Anderson Valley

Kendall-Jackson Estate Pinot Noir 2012 is Californian Pinot Noir at its very best. From the cool Anderson Valley in California, you get an elegant, complex and deeply charming red wine where climate, terroir and craftsmanship come together. A wine for those who seek finesse, balance and true enjoyment in the glass.

Anderson Valley is known for its cool climate with fresh Pacific Ocean air and nutrient-poor, mountainous soils that force the vines to work hard. This produces small, concentrated grapes with intense aroma and great natural acidity – ideal for Pinot Noir. The 2012 vintage was particularly successful in California, producing ripe, harmonious wines with both depth and structure.

Aged for 12 months in French oak barrels, the wine adds complexity, subtle spice and an elegant structure that lifts the fruit without overpowering it. The result is a Pinot Noir with both richness and refinement – powerful, yet silky and balanced.

Perfect as a meditation wine, with duck, veal, mushroom dishes or simply as a serious glass of red wine when quality is paramount.

Tasting notes

Aroma: Delicate notes of wild strawberries, dark cherries and a slightly smoky undertone, beautifully rounded by a touch of toasty French oak.

Flavor: Juicy dark cherries and ripe plums dominate the palate, while fine spicy nuances and a subtle minerality create depth and complexity.

Finish: Long, elegant and harmonious with silky tannins that make this wine ideal for slow enjoyment.

Kendall-Jackson – California wine tradition since 1974

Kendall-Jackson has been family-owned and operated since 1974 with a focus on quality, innovation and sustainability. Founder Jess Jackson began with 80 acres of orchard north of Napa Valley, which he converted to winemaking. The house Chardonnay in particular quickly put Kendall-Jackson on the world map, and the Vintner’s Reserve Chardonnay became an American classic.

Today, the legacy is carried on by the next generation with a strong focus on nature conservation, sustainable cultivation and uncompromising quality – from their own French barrels to modern vinification methods. Kendall-Jackson Estate Pinot Noir 2012 is a beautiful example of the house’s ability to combine Californian fruit intensity with European elegance.
