Unique Production and Unmatched Quality
Clarendon Distillery, founded in 1780, is part of National Rums of Jamaica and is renowned for its exceptional production methods. The distillery features a triple-column still used for producing lighter rums, but it is their heavy pot still rums, with ester levels reaching up to 1,500 grams per hectoliter of pure alcohol, that make Clarendon truly special. This release carries the distillery’s own MBS marking, indicating that the rum has a moderate ester content of between 10 and 60 grams per hectoliter, resulting in a harmonious and well-balanced flavor profile.
