This rare and magic Cognac, steeped in history, has been distilled in the property Domaine des Forges during the Second world War. After numerous decades of ageing in our cellar, this exceptional Cognac is an emotionel tribute to Paul Vallein. (1864-1944)
Succeeding his father George, founders of the Cognac house in 1850, he developed strongly the activity and the fame of the house.
He having no children, so he transmitted to his nephew Louis Tercinier knowledges and values, which will be transmitted by generations to next generations until nowdays. With delicancy and exceptional and rare emotion, this cognac was bottled in the property in 2017.


The Vallein Terciniet family has been in the Cognac area for more than 500 years, when the first members of the family arrived in 1480. However, the production of wine only started in 1791, when they bought the Domaine des Forges in the town of Chermignac. which is located approx. 30 km. west to Cognac city. Only in 1850 did George Vallein set up a trading company and only here did the production of Cognac begin. Right from the start, a professional cellar master was employed, and today it is still the family in the 5th generation that manages the 8 pot stills.
