Ardbeg Traigh Bhan 19 Year Old Islay Single Malt Whisky is a rare and coveted small batch release from the iconic Islay distillery. Aged for 19 years, it represents the mature and deeply complex side of Ardbeg. It is a whisky for collectors and passionate Islay lovers seeking intense smoke combined with elegance and the finesse of age.

This edition is bottled at 46.2% and bears the batch number TB/03-10.10.01/21.BL. It was created under the direction of Head Distiller Colin Gordon. Each batch of Traigh Bhan has its own expression but retains Ardbeg’s distinctive DNA: powerful peat smoke, maritime notes and a surprisingly soft texture.

The name Traigh Bhan means “Singing Sands”. The beach is located along the rocky coastline between Ardbeg and Port Ellen on Islay. It’s a dramatic and beautiful place where sea, wind and sand meet. This landscape inspires this bottling, which balances raw nature with refined aging.

As an aged Ardbeg, this 19-year-old version shows a more rounded and sophisticated side of the distillery. The smoke is still prominent, but it’s deeper and more integrated. The casks have added structure, warmth and complexity without overpowering the classic Islay character.
