Ageing in quarter casks

Arran Quarter Cask is first matured in traditional oak casks and then finished in smaller quarter casks. These smaller casks allow greater contact between the whisky and the wood, accelerating maturation and creating a more intense flavor experience.

The result is a whisky with extra depth, powerful aromas and a beautiful balance of fruit, spice and sweetness. Bottled at 56.2% alcohol, it delivers a rich and authentic whisky experience.

The whisky is non-chill-filtered and naturally colored, which means all the natural oils and flavors are retained in the bottle.

Tasting notes

Aroma: Intense and aromatic with tropical fruits, coconut, ripe citrus and a hint of sweet malt.

Taste: Rich and powerful with notes of warm vanilla, spices, baked apples and sweet fruit. The high alcohol content gives a nice warmth and depth.

Finish: Long and warm with spice, fruity notes and an elegant oak sweetness.
