The whisky was distilled on September 10, 2008 at the traditional Benrinnes distillery in Speyside and matured for 12 years in a classic Hogshead cask. Bottling took place on July 29, 2021 and only 282 bottles were tapped from cask number 310640. This makes this whisky a rare and coveted single cask release for collectors and connoisseurs.
