The history of the house

Christian Drouin was founded immediately after World War II with the ambition to create the world’s best Calvados. In the early years, Christian Drouin built up senior warehouses without selling the production. Today, these cellars house a unique collection of vintage Calvados.

In 1960, the house began producing and bottling under its own name, and about 20 years later, the first official launch took place. Today, Christian Drouin d. 2 continues the family’s traditions and has achieved international recognition for both vintage versions and elegant blends. The vintages date back to 1939 and bear witness to the unique heritage of the house.
