Behind the wine is Domaine Decelle et Fils, an ambitious project created by two prominent personalities in the world of wine: Olivier Decelle and Pierre-Jean Villa. Their goal has always been to produce authentic Burgundy wines with great respect for nature, terroir and traditional methods. The vineyards are farmed organically, ensuring healthy grapes and a pure expression in the wines.

the 2022 vintage in Burgundy offered excellent conditions where a well-balanced growing season produced grapes with both ripe fruit and fresh acidity. The result is a Puligny-Montrachet with great aromatic clarity, great structure and an elegant balance of fruit, minerality and subtle barrel character.

The history of the house

Domaine Decelle et Fils was founded in 2008 by Olivier Decelle and Pierre-Jean Villa, two of the most respected figures in the wine world. Olivier Decelle is known for his estates in Roussillon and Saint-Emilion, including Mas Amiel and Château Jean Faure, while Pierre-Jean Villa previously worked as a winemaker in Condrieu, Côte Rôtie and Saint Joseph. Together they created a domaine in Burgundy with a focus on elegance, terroir and sustainable agriculture. Today, they work with around 7 hectares of vineyards in both Côte de Beaune and Côte de Nuits, producing wines with great precision and respect for the traditions of the area.
