Domaine Philippe Girard Corton Grand Cru “Perrières” Magnum 2019 is classic, structured and uncompromising Burgundy from the top shelf. This is a Grand Cru from the legendary Corton hill in an impressive magnum format – made for cellaring, big dinners and special moments.

The wine comes from 35-year-old vines that deliver concentration, depth and distinct terroir. After harvest, the wine is aged for 10-12 months in French oak barrels, 40-50% of which are new. This creates a beautiful balance between fruit, structure and elegant barrel spice – without overpowering the wine’s natural finesse.

the 2019 vintage in Burgundy is known for its combination of ripe fruit, great acidity and structural precision. In magnum, the wine develops even more harmoniously and slowly, making this edition particularly attractive to collectors and connoisseurs.

Tasting notes

Color: Deep ruby red with a clear and vibrant core.

Aroma: Complex and elegant with notes of ripe cherry, raspberry and blackcurrant, accompanied by violet, lightly toasted oak and a hint of spice.

Flavor: Structured and precise with great tannin and vibrant acidity. The ripe red fruit is balanced by mineral depth and subtle barrel notes from the new barriques.
