Bottled at a robust 50%, this exclusive annual release offers a different and more mineral sherry profile than the classic oloroso matured bottlings.

The whisky is matured for a minimum of five years in 20 carefully selected fino sherry butts from Bodega Jose y Miguel Martin. Fino casks are known for their dry, fresh and slightly salty character, and this particular cask type brings a new dimension to the Loch Gorm smoky DNA. Layers of minerality, elegant oak and hints of maple syrup play beautifully with Kilchoman’s natural citrus sweetness and maritime peat smoke.

With only 15,650 bottles in the batch, this is a coveted release among collectors and Islay enthusiasts. A whisky with a distinct identity – both from the cask and the island.

Tasting notes

Aroma: Fresh and complex with notes of citrus, green apples, slightly salty minerality, toasted oak and elegant peat smoke.

Kilchoman Distillery – Islay’s Farm Distillery
