The history of the house

The Milbrandt name is closely linked to Washington State wine development. Butch Milbrandt is a fourth generation farmer. In 1997, he and his family took a bold step and planted vineyards in the Columbia Valley.

The Milbrandts helped establish two recognized wine regions: Ancient Lakes of the Columbia Valley and Wahluke Slope. Their philosophy is based on patience, hard work and uncompromising quality. The former family farm has evolved into a winery known for world-class wines.
