The wine comes from the renowned Rosebud Vineyard in Columbia Valley, where the climate provides perfect conditions for Cabernet Sauvignon. The grapes come from Rosebud Vineyard, where the terroir produces Cabernet Sauvignon with great aromatic intensity. After fermentation, the wine is aged for 18 months in French oak barrels. The barrel aging gives extra depth, structure and notes of spice, vanilla and cedar.

The 2016 vintage shows a beautiful mature style with rich fruit and well-integrated tannins. The wine develops beautifully in the glass and can be cellared for several years. Perfect with beef, lamb, game or mature cheeses.

Va Piano Vineyards is located in the Walla Walla Valley in Washington State. The winery was founded in the early 2000s by winemaker Justin Wylie. The name “Va Piano” means “go slowly” in Italian and reflects the winery’s philosophy of taking time to create wines with quality and character.
