The grapes for this 2011 vintage come from Stagecoach Vineyard, one of Napa Valley’s most recognized mountain vineyards. The warm block where the grapes are grown provides a long growing season, allowing Petit Verdot to reach full phenolic ripeness and maximum aromatic depth.

The wine is aged for a minimum of 26 months in new French oak barrels, which adds complexity, structure and a silky smooth finish to the grape’s naturally distinctive tannins. The result is an intense, dark and structured wine with both power and elegance – made for aging, but also impressive now with proper oxygenation.
