Springbank Whiskey Tasting – An Exclusive Evening Featuring Rare Bottlings

Eriksen Vinhandel invites you on Thursday, November 19, 2026, at 6:30 p.m. to a very special whiskey evening featuring one of Scotland’s most traditional and sought-after distilleries— Springbank Distillery from Campbeltown.

We’ve put together an exceptionally impressive tasting lineup featuring no fewer than 11 whiskies. Here, the classic Springbank bottlings will be joined by some of the distillery’s rarest and most sought-after releases from 2025 and 2026. The evening will feature, among others, the iconic Springbank Local Barley, Springbank 21 Year Old, and—as an extraordinary highlight—the impressive Springbank 30 Year Old.

And as if the lineup weren’t impressive enough already, we have a special surprise up our sleeve for this evening. We won’t reveal what it is in advance—it’s something to be experienced on the night itself.

Springbank—Whiskey Tradition from Campbeltown

Campbeltown was once known as one of Scotland’s great whisky towns, with more than 30 distilleries. Today, Springbank is one of the producers carrying on the region’s proud history and distinctive whisky style.

Springbank is known for its uncompromising approach to whisky production and its respect for traditional craftsmanship. Much of the work at the distillery is still carried out using old methods, which help create the characteristic Campbeltown style with complex fruit, malt, subtle peat smoke, and an elegant maritime character.

A rare opportunity for Springbank enthusiasts

Demand for Springbank is enormous, and many of the distillery’s special releases can be extremely difficult to obtain. Even rarer is the opportunity to experience so many different expressions together in a single glass on one evening.

We’re therefore opening bottles that are normally reserved for collections and special occasions. This offers the chance to experience Springbank’s diverse expressions side by side—from the younger, more vibrant whiskies to mature, complex bottlings aged for up to 30 years.

Jakob from Juuls is tonight’s host

Tonight’s host is Jakob from Juuls, who will be joining us at Eriksen Vinhandel to guide us through the 11 whiskies. With his extensive knowledge and passion for whisky, Jakob will share insights about Springbank, Campbeltown, the production process, and the stories behind each bottling.

The tasting will be conducted in Danish.
